I'm so touched and humbled to have been selected as an honoree by the Zorgos Project. Zorgos is the Bullying Antidote, and I was humbled to be included in the company of five other awardees, who in my opinion are doing really important work. From the ceremony:

"Ron Lytle's wonderful works of imagination have helped illustrate and unpack the bad behavior of "wicked" characters and model how we can all access goodness. His breakout work, "Oh My Godmother!" and his annual output as resident playwright for East Bay Children's Theatre have made Grimm's fairytales less grim, helping to heal a dark history of European childrearing. All of his works demonstrates character arcs towards virtue and happiness, and each show creates opportunities for positive, inter-generational community experiences. The efforts Ron has made as an artist to release his own talents are a gift to the community and the world, demonstrating the healthy influence of the arts as an endless resource and a powerful primary prevention tool in teaching empathy, hard work, and mastery. "Happily ever after" stories teach optimism and a growth mindset, and Ron brings positivity to the world in delightful abundance with heaps of humor and clever wordplay."
Isn't that nice? Support this terrific organization!
